An aide of Makadure Madhush dies in an STF shooting

Police Media Spokesman SDIG Ajith Rohana stated that Lalith Wasantha was shot dead by the Special Task Force (STF) last night.

 

The deceased was a resident of the Seeduwa area and had been involved in a number of murders and murders in the Seeduwa, Wattala, Matara, Akuressa, Katunayake and Ragama police divisions since 1991. He succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to the Negombo Hospital.

 

Ajith Rohana stated that there were two other persons in the car at that time and that there was a micro pistol in it and the Seeduwa Police are conducting further investigations.
