A consensus among the opposition parties

The inaugural conference of the "Opposition All Party Coalition" organized by the National Movement for a Just Society was held at the Janaki Hotel premises in Narahenpita yesterday.

The conference was organized with the aim of reaching a consensus among the opposition political parties on the future politics of the country.

The conference was chaired by former Speaker Karu Jayasuriya and Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa.

Discussions focused on current politics and future political course of action, as well as the possibility of building the country through the cooperation of all opposition political parties.
