Rear Admiral Sanjeeva Dias is the Commanding Officer of the Eastern Naval Area

Rear Admiral Sanjeewa Dias, who served as the Commander of the North Central Navy, has been appointed as the Commanding Officer of the Eastern Navy.

Rear Admiral Sanjeewa Dias was recognized as the new Commander of the Eastern Navy as an Honorary Guard in keeping with naval traditions.

The Regional Commander, Rear Admiral , Deputy Chief of Staff of the Navy, Y. N. Mr. Jayaratne officially handed over duties and responsibilities to the new Commander of the Navy.
