The third shipment of Pfizer vaccination has arrived in Sri Lanka.

This morning, Sri Lanka received its third shipment of the Pfizer BioNTech Covid vaccination.

 

The vaccination shipment, comprising of 70,200 doses, arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake, according to State Minister Professor Channa Jayasumana.

 

Sri Lanka has now received a total of 128,700 doses of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine, he said, with the arrival of the newest batch.

 

It was subsequently reported that the Pfizer vaccination will be given to students going abroad for studies as well as the fishing population in Mannar and Vavuniya.
