It is essential that you get sound exposure to the respective practical lessons in relation to these software and it will help you to understand the theoretical knowledge properly.

Graphic Software

Graphic software can be termed as a program or a set of programs that help us to create graphics, draw pictures, edit and manage them as required. These are widely used in the creation of graphics with the help of computers. We design graphics or draw pictures with the numerous color schemes and tools available. The manual drawings and artistic creations have now been replaced by numerous software with the advancement of technology in the world.  

Examples: MS Paint, Adobe Photoshop, Samartdraw, Adobe Illustrator, Tux Paint Software

Word Processing Software

The software that help us to create, edit, print and store documents as required in our everyday life are called Word Processing Software.

Examples: Microsoft Word, Abiword, Open Office, Word Perfect, Libre Office

 

Audio and Video Editing Software

Audio Editing Software are programs that have been developed to edit the audio recordings where we can change, remove, add effects and improve them using several tools.

Audio recordings contain voice that can be heard and an audio tape is a tape recording of a particular sound.  There are several audio editing software such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro X, WavePad, FL Studio and GarageBand.

Audacity is an audio editing software that can be installed in several operating systems like Mac, Windows and Linux. It is used to record audio and edit the recordings. Audacity has multiple layers and is used to record live audio recordings and music, insert sound effects on recorded digital graphics, edit sounds by copying, trimming, mixing and combining  sound as required, edit files written in numerous formats like MP2, MP3, WAV. and amend the pitch and speed in audio recordings.
