People over the age of 30 reopen the country after vaccination

Trade Minister Bandula Gunawardena said that the vaccination of all persons over the age of 30 will be completed by September this year and the country will be reopened after that.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the new Bulathsinhala Sathosa branch yesterday, he said that by September, Sri Lanka was the only country in the world where all persons over the age of 30 had completed the vaccination.

He added that schools would reopen next week and hoped to further reduce the cost of face masks.
