Mount Lavinia Police arrested two persons including a woman with 210 grams of heroin

Mount Lavinia Police have arrested two women aged 41 and 50 with 210 grams of heroin.

Police Media Spokesman Senior DIG Ajith Rohana stated that the value of the drugs is close to Rs. 2.1 million and that detention orders will be obtained after the suspects are produced before court.

Police have arrested a 25-year-old man with heroin in the Moratuwa area, two suspects with 10 grams of heroin in the Grandpass area and two suspects with 15 grams of ice in the Kohuwala area.

The total value of the drugs seized is close to Rs. 3.5 million.
