38 Sri Lankans arrested for staying in India illegally

Mangalore police and Tamil Nadu police have arrested 38 Sri Lankans who were staying in India illegally last month.

One person has tried to smuggle one million Sri Lankan rupees from India to Canada and the group went to India by sea last March.

The arrested Sri Lankans have been produced in court by the Mangalore Police and handed over to the National Investigation Agency of India for further investigations.
