Central Bank intrusion bid thwarted

Eight individuals were arrested after attempting to forcibly enter the premises of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL). 

 

 

The group, identifying themselves as the 'Joint Association of Leasing and Debt Instalment Payers,' sought concessions related to leasing facilities. 

 

 

The Fort Police intervened promptly and apprehended the individuals involved in the incident.
