The Sri Lankan team held their nerve against India in the closing overs to win the third ODI by three wickets. Despite the setback, India wins the series by a score of 2 to 1.
Spinners, Praveen Jayawickrama and Akila Dananjaya combined for six wickets as Sri Lanka bowled India out for 225 in the third One-Day International in Colombo.
India had 157 for 3 on the board at one point, but then lost a flurry of wickets as the spinners raced through the middle order. The highest scorer for India was Prithvi Shaw (49) with a total of 49 points.
Sri Lanka's chase was led by Avishka Fernando and Bhanuka Rajapaksha, who helped the team reach the target in 39 overs.
