Sagala tasked to oversee Singapore agreements

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has assigned Chief of Staff Sagala Ratnayaka the responsibility of overseeing the agreements and negotiations made with Singapore until they are handed over to the relevant ministers. 

 

 

Discussions were held during President Wickremesinghe's visit to Singapore regarding the possibility of sending wind and solar energy products built in the Northern and Eastern Provinces of Sri Lanka to Singapore using modern techniques. 

 

 

The handling of matters related to the discussions in Singapore will be managed under the Office of the President until the appropriate ministries are assigned to them. 

 

 

The exchange of wind and solar electricity between the two countries will also be a topic for future discussions.
