Debit, credit card payments on expressways delayed

The payment system for debit and credit cards on expressways, which was scheduled to be implemented from today, will be further delayed, the Road Development Authority (RDA) said.

 

A senior official from the Authority said that it has not been possible to complete the necessary facilities to implement the programme as planned.

 

The pilot project for card payments on expressways was launched on April 11 at the Kottawa interchange on the Southern Expressway.
