Water cut in Wattala tomorrow

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said that the water supply to a section of the Wattala-Negombo road, a section of Mabola and all by roads to Welikadamulla Hedala Road Nayakakanda Junction will be suspended from 10 am on Tuesday to 10 am the next day (Wednesday).

They also said that the water supply to Galahaduwa, Maradana Road, Puwakwatta Road, Alwistawuma and parts of Kerawalapitiya will also be suspended.

The Water Supply and Drainage Board stated that the reason for the 24 hour water cut was the laying of water pipes across the Hedala Bridge by the Wattala Water Supply Scheme and connecting them to the main pipeline.
