STF arrests person with explosives

A 39-year-old man was arrested with explosives during a raid carried out by the STF in Mirigama.

During the raid, 81 sticks of gelignite, 75 kilograms of ammonia nitrite, 107 non-electric detonators and 360 meters of service thread were seized.

The suspect, a resident of Mirigama, has been handed over to the Mirigama Police for further investigations.
