Four elevated railway tracks to curb traffic congestion in Colombo

Approval to construct four  elevated railway tracks has been granted by the Cabinet of Ministers.

 

The said construction will take place in the Colombo City-limits with the aim of easing the  traffic congestion.

 

The Cabinet co-spokesman Minister Udaya Gammanpila stated that the construction will be launched as a Public -Private Partnership.

 

Accordingly, the tracks have been named  Raktha, Haritha, Neela, and Dham.
