An explanation from the Army Commander about the third dose

Army Commander General Shavendra Silva third dose of Covid vaccine to the people of this country and a discussion was held at the Covid Task Force on this.

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has instructed that if the third dose is given in other countries, it should be done in our country as well and that the required number of vaccines should be applied for immediately.

The Army Commander said that 93% of the population in the country has taken the first dose and 23% has taken the second dose.
