“Your heart’s shape will say about your heart diseases”

The recent research data of US researchers prove that the structure of the heart and the risk of atrial fibrillation and heart failure are interconnected. The shape of the heart can provide information about the risk of certain heart diseases.

 

“The round hearts shaped like baseballs are more likely to develop heart failure and atrial fibrillation than those longer hearts that like the traditional Valentine’s heart,”. The researchers at the Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai, a non-profit Los Angeles hospital declare.

 

To examine the genetics of the heart structure, the scientists employed artificial intelligence, specifically deep learning, and advanced imaging analyses. This research study was published in the journal “Med”,
