Why Can't we save money?

Why Can't we save money?

Many of us had a lot of health problems as well as financial problems due to the recent corona epidemic in Sri Lanka. Being unable to go to work, and in some cases people even lost their jobs. businesses were disrupted. And at the same time the prices of the goods we consume went high. So many of you who are reading this article will inevitably face such difficulties.

There are countless times when you think, "If you had at least kept aside a little money, this would be nothing, did you feel like this too?" There should not be an emergency only for you to remember to save money. Saving means creating the background you need to live properly in the rising standard of living in the future. So you are still not late. Imagine who would give you money if you suddenly became ill or you are in terrible financial situation? How do you plan to live as you get older? Have you saved enough money? The price of everything else will increase in the future, not decrease.

So why can't we save? Is the income that you get is less or the expenditure too high? You may think that your income is not enough to save. As you have to settle for credit cards, bank loans, electricity / water bills, rent as well as maybe children's expenses. Or the money saved may be withdrawn at an unexpected moment. Needs will double as we get our salaries. This is why you have come to the point where you can never save. But basically, if you are financially disciplined, you will definitely save some money no matter how much you earn. So in order to save the most important here is your attitude. You have to change it. Also, if you make a commitment today for the future and save money, you will be able to deal with problematic situations very successfully.

We end up accustomed to spending rather than saving. You have to try to change it with changing your attitudes accordingly. It will add value to the future well-being of you and your family. So there is still time left for you to think about the future. Will you save money or spend it all?
