Wage disparities to be eliminated in education sector within next two months

Education Minister Susil Premajayantha has announced that steps will be taken to address wage disparities in the education sector within the next two months. The minister highlighted ongoing discussions with teacher trade unions to find a mutually agreeable solution.

 

 

By rectifying salary anomalies, the minister believes that an adequate number of qualified individuals will be available for school management positions. 

 

 

He also emphasized the importance of keeping up with updated technology and knowledge to enhance professional competence rather than relying on outdated information.
