When employers are looking for suitable candidates for the vacant job roles within their companies or institutions, the advertisements in relation to these vacancies are typically published in newspapers, websites, gazette notifications, handbills, banners, notices, social media and etc. The job seekers who are interested in applying for these jobs, must be mindful of the fact that their response must be sent professionally. The job advertisements can be responded in three major ways namely, by a curriculum vitae or a bio data form, a job application and a letter. If you are a fresh graduate with less experience or if you are applying for a job in the field that is completely different from your current field, you can prepare a curriculum vitea. The bio data is the old term utilized for a curriculum vitea or a resume. A bio data focuses more on personal information and today and in the international arena, the Curriculum Vitea and resumes are commonly accepted.

 

 

Resumes on the other hand are suitable for people who have a wellestablished background in relation to a particular profession, and it is a summarized document prepared by experienced job seekers who apply for specific positions and they are required to possess a particular set of capabilities and skills. A resume is typically a summary of one’s education, skills and job related experience and is quite shorter and precise than a curriculum vitea. However, some companies require you to fill in a job application. In this case depending on their requirement, it may be a model application form that needs to be completed or you may be required to forward a written application.
