It is quite important that one possesses sufficient work experience along with the required qualifications when it comes to a job or a profession. The professions in the fields like medicine, law, engineering, and etc. ask for experience before any job placement and the graduates are required to undergo an apprenticeship or an internship for a specific time period. Today, most of the undergraduate programmes that are linked with industrial placements, are inculcated with an internship that is compulsory and its completion is required in order to get qualified. It is important that you have enough exposure to the practical scenarios related to the job and possess the required knowledge to apply the theory in to practice within the professional environment. Experience bridges the gap between the theory and the practical knowledge.

 

Thus, as students, you can critically analyze your skill set and your strengths. This will help you to decide on your future profession or the ambition correctly. Most of the individuals do not have a through idea and select the subjects or the stream without a proper plan. In order to follow the right path and save your time and resources, you should start planning from the beginning. There is a series of points that should be taken into to account when selecting a suitable subject stream. You must check whether the chosen subject stream matches with that of your skills and capabilities.

 

 

Making yourself aware of the educational and professional qualifications required by the job will never go wasted. You may check whether the relevant subjects are offered at the school and whether there are any opportunities for higher studies in the event that you select a certain stream. As various jobs are available for each stream, you should have a clear idea on different pathways and keep your selfupdated.
