Over 20 dead, 80 injured after passenger train derails in Pakistan

A tragic train accident in Pakistan's Sindh province resulted in the derailment of ten coaches of the Rawalpindi-bound Hazara Express. At least 25 people died, and around 80 others were injured.

 

 

The cause of the derailment remains unclear, with speculations ranging from deliberate sabotage to mechanical failure. Injured passengers have been taken to nearby hospitals, and a rescue operation involving local authorities, the Pakistan Army, and emergency services is underway.
