30 injured in Beliatta–Dikwella bus collision

 Thirty passengers were injured this morning when two buses collided near the Hettiarachchi Junction on the Beliatta–Dikwella Road.

 

The injured were admitted to the Tangalle Hospital for treatment.

 

Police said the accident occurred when a private bus travelling from Dikwella to Beliatta collided with a Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) bus coming from the opposite direction.
