Duminda Silva meets Prime Minister

Former parliamentarian Duminda Silva, who was released from prison on a presidential pardon last month, called on Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees.

Prior to his pardon, he was sentenced to death in connection with the 2011 assassination of former parliamentarian Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra.

Social media and Bar  Association of Sri Lanka requests President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa to make the public aware of the procedure followed in pardoning Duminda Silva.
