SriLankan Airlines to retire 560 employees in three years spending Rs.146 billion

A proposal to implement the Voluntary Retirement Scheme for around 560 employees of SriLankan Airlines has been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.

 

The above decision has been reached owing to the financial crisis faced by the SriLankan Airlines.

 

It is anticipated that around 560 employees will be retired under the scheme at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.46 Billion.
