Focus on weather today

There will be an increase in rains in many parts of the island in the next few days.

 

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North Western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

 

Showers or thundershowers in the Mannar and Jaffna districts during the morning and in other parts of the country during the evening or night.

 

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate measures to minimize the dangers posed by temporary strong winds and lightning in those areas during thundershowers.
