A health official said 69 people, including 42 Indians, had been infected with covid at a construction site in the Mirijjawila Export Processing Zone in Hambantota.

Thirty-nine Indian nationals working at the construction site of the factory were admitted to the Covid-19 unit of the Hambantota Hospital on November 17.
