Another archeological site in Sri Lanka is going to apply for World Heritage

The Central Cultural Fund earned between 10 and 22 million rupees a day before the Easter Sunday attacks and the COVID-19 epidemic.


It is planned to conserve and develop such places to attract more tourists once the country recovers from the epidemic.


 Another project is planned to be launched to allow visitors to pass through the secret door of Fort Frederick in Trincomalee.


Prof. Ranasinghe said that the conservation of prehistoric historical sites in Alawala has also commenced and they will be presented to the relevant authorities soon.
