More than 100,000 people over the age of 60 have not yet been vaccinated

The Ministry of Home Affairs said that more than 100,000 people over the age of 60 have not yet received the covid vaccine.

More than 21,000 people who have not been vaccinated are reported from the Jaffna district, 3,900 from the Colombo district and 7,000 from the Kandy district.

The Ministry further stated that all persons over the age of 60 in the Ampara and Puttalam districts have been vaccinated against covid.
