Announces two special parliamentary sessions

The Committee on Parliamentary Affairs has agreed to convene a special two day Parliament to provide an opportunity for questions that could not be answered due to the expansion of Covid.

Opposition members have agreed to the proposal made by External Affairs Minister Dinesh Gunawardena. Parliament is scheduled to convene on September 6 and 27 as two special days.

They agreed to answer only questions that could not be answered during these two days.
