The newest research data revealed interesting news for coffee lovers

The common belief among many people that coffee is a harmful drink for heart health was denied by Dr. Jamal Shaaban, former dean of the National Heart Institute.

Studying the validity of this myth, Shaaban explained that drinking coffee at a rate of one to 3 cups per day reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease and he denied the well-known myth.

According to him, the researchers have noted that drinking coffee in the same amount per day contributed to reducing death rates among people with heart disease.

Although some people avoid coffee, for fear of experiencing palpitations after drinking it, the truth is that it helps to reduce the incidence of electrocardiograms.

The good news is that some research has revealed that drinking one cup of coffee per day helps heart attack survivors avoid the risk of death, according to News-Medical. The regularity of healthy people drinking coffee daily provides them with great protection against heart attacks and strokes, the same research showed.

Coffee contains more than 100 biologically active compounds, which help reduce oxidative stress and inflammation, improve insulin sensitivity in the body, enhance metabolism and reduce the intestinal absorption of fats, according to the American College of Cardiology. According to studies, it derives benefits for heart health from these biologically active compounds.

Due to its high caffeine content, coffee should be consumed in moderation, because excessive amounts of it can lead to high blood pressure.
