SLC says it has not authorized or retained any lawyers in Sri Lanka to represent Danushka

 

The Sri Lanka Cricket Association clarified today that no lawyer in Sri Lanka has been authorized or retained to represent the Sri Lanka Cricket Association or the cricketer Dhanushka Gunathilake or make any kind of statement.

"It is observed that some of the recent public statements made by a lawyer regarding Dhanushka Gunathilake give the impression that he is advocating for and on behalf of Sri Lanka Cricket."

"Therefore, Sri Lanka Cricket is not responsible for such statements or the veracity of such statements made by the said lawyer," the Sri Lanka Cricket Board said in a statement.
