Monkeypox : Update from Health Services DG

 

Health Services DG Dr. Asela Gunawardena downplayed concerns about the spread of monkeypox in Sri Lanka. 

He said people need not fear due to the detection of a monkeypox-infected individual in Sri Lanka. 

Dr. Asela Gunawardena said the situation is under control and people need not panic over the matter.
