Pasta kottu

Kottu is a dish that we usually eat from outside. But we can easily make kottu in many ways at home. Today we will tell you on how you can make a unique pasta kottu. You can easily make this kottu as you like using the ingredients available at home.

 

What we need,

  •  500 g of mixed fish, prawns and squid
  •  500 grams of boiled pasta
  •  Finely chopped big onion
  •  Finely chopped garlic and ginger
  •  Vegetable oil 400 g
  •  Finely chopped carrot, cabbage, leeks and maalu miris.
  •  Two tablespoons of chopped chilies
  •  Two sliced ​​tomatoes
  •  Turmeric powder
  •  Curry powder
  •  spices
  •  salt and pepper as needed

 

How to prepare,

 

Boil the pasta in a well-heated pot with a little oil and salt. After boiled drain and keep aside. Then wash and strain the chopped fish, add a pinch of salt, pepper, turmeric powder and curry powder and fry well in a deep frying pan. If you want, you can use any type of meat you like for this. Now put about 4 to 5 tablespoons of oil in a pan and when it heats up add big onion, ginger and garlic and temper while adding all the chopped vegetables along with the green chillies.

 

Then add the eggs and cook for a while. Add some spices, salt, pepper and enough tomatoes and mix well. Then add the boiled pasta and mix well. You can add some grated cheese to add more flavor. But it is not essential. Once everything is well mixed, taste it and serve hot. But for children it will be a great meal which invitations will not be needed.
