Egg curry with a meat flavour

Egg curry with a meat flavour

A lot don't eat if there is no fish or meat. Anxious thoughts come to mind when there is no meat or fish to make for lunch or dinner. But an egg curry that can be easily made at such a time will relieve you from such inconveniences. So let's see how to make this simple yet tasty egg curry.

What we need,

  •  Eggs (take as much as you want)
  •  Red onions or large onions
  •  2 or 3 sprigs of raw chillies
  •  4 large cloves of minced garlic
  •  A cardamom pod
  •  A piece of cinnamon bark
  •  Rampe ( pandan leaves )
  •  Curry leaves
  •  A little turmeric powder
  •  Chili powder
  •  Pepper powder
  •  Meat curry Powder or fried curry powder
  •  Coconut milk
  •  Salt

How to prepare,

First of all you should, place the beaten eggs in a bowl, cover with a lid and steam. (You can easily do it in a steamer or keep a wire rack inside the rice cooker and steam) If desired, you can add finely chopped onion, raw chilli powder and a pinch of pepper powder to the eggs and mix well. Once the steamed eggs have hardened, take them out and put them in another pot. To do this, bend the other side of the bowl with the eggs and tap it slightly so that it will come out of the bowl.

Now cut this into pieces for the sizes you like. Heat a clay pot or a pan and add a tablespoon of oil. Then add onions, chillies, chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper, garlic, rampe, curry leaves, cardomoms and salt as required and mix well using a spoon. Remember to keep the fire of the hearth to a minimum at this time. Now add the fried curry powder or meat curry powder. Stir well so that it also adds to the mixture well. Now add some coconut milk. Then stir the curry well. Meanwhile, increase the heat of the pot a little. When the mixture thickens, add the cut egg pieces to the mixture. Once the mixture thickens further, turn off the heat. This is how you can prepare a meatless meat curry.
