Global coronavirus cases surpass 100 million

Coronavirus cases reported across the world has surpassed 100 million, on  January 25 as per the sources. 

 

The new variants of coronavirus identified initially in South Africa and the UK are spreading at a rapid rate across the world.

 

The COVID-19 death toll in the world has surged upto 2.1 million deaths while a total of 26 million active cases have been identified.

 

The total number of recoveries stood  at 72 million as on January 25.
