Fuel station dealers face scrutiny

Minister of Power and Energy, Kanchana Wijesekara, disclosed that some fuel station dealers still needed to meet the 50% stock capacity.
However, the dealers have placed adequate orders to meet the stock requirements. In response to non-compliance, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has taken over the management of a few fuel stations and initiated legal actions against multiple other dealers.
Minister Wijesekara emphasized the importance of all dealers maintaining sufficient stock levels and placing orders accordingly.
