New amendments to Online Safety Bill being drafted

New amendments to the Online Safety Bill are being drafted at the moment, Minister Ali Sabry told Parliament today.

 

He said new amendments had to be drafted as the Attorney General had advised that it was not possible to make new amendments which could change the structure of the Bill during the Commitee stage.

 

The Minister also said that the Attorney General has cleared the steps taken by the Speaker to endorse the Online Safety Bill.
