Lohan Ratwatte granted bail

Former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte was granted bail today over a road accident caused while driving under the influence of alcohol. 

 

According to police sources, the incident occurred in Kollupitiya, where Ratwatte’s vehicle was involved in a collision. 

 

Preliminary investigations revealed that the former State Minister was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

 

He was released on bail after being produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court earlier yesterday (9).
