FitsAir to launch direct flights to Kuala Lumpur from April

FitsAir, Sri Lanka’s first privately owned international airline will launch direct flights to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 4 April, as part of its regional expansion strategy, the airline said in an announcement.
The low-cost carrier will operate four weekly flights to the Malaysian capital, further strengthening its regional connectivity.
“This expansion reflects the airline’s ongoing efforts to cater to the increasing demand for cost-effective, reliable air travel, reinforcing its position as a key player in the region’s aviation sector,” FitsAir said in a statement.
The launch of flights to Kuala Lumpur marks an important milestone for FitsAir as it continues to expand its network and enhance regional connectivity. This new route will create greater opportunities for trade, tourism, and travel, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to making air travel more accessible and affordable.
To mark the launch, FitsAir is offering a special introductory fare of Rs. 65,300 for a return ticket to Kuala Lumpur. This all-inclusive fare comes with 20kg checked baggage and 7kg hand luggage, ensuring a hassle-free travel experience.
With this new service, FitsAir continues to expand its network and provide more affordable, hassle-free travel options to its passengers. The airline’s growing network includes destinations like Malé, Dubai, Dhaka, and Chennai, with seamless connections through its main hub in Colombo.
