Two killed in accident at Sella Kataragama

Two young men died and four others were seriously injured in an accident at Passarayaya in Sella Kataragama when the van they were travelling in ran out of control due to excessive speed and collided againt two motorcycles and a lorry parked by the roadside and subsequently crashed on to a tree. 

 

The deceased were identified as Dishan Kavinda Ranasinghe (26)  and Chanaka Lakshan (26) of Kataragama New Town. 

 

Two critically injured were admitted to the Hambantota General Hospital.

 

Kataragama police are conducting further investigations on the instructions of SSP Tangalla K.B. Kirthiratne.
