Woman arrested with 2800 milligrams of heroin

The Matara Divisional Anti-Corruption Unit arrested a woman with 2 grams and 800 milligrams of heroin in a raid carried out in the Rassandeniya area in the Matara Police Division.

The suspect is a 48 year old resident of Devinuwara, Matara.

She is due to be produced before the Matara Magistrate's Court today and the Matara Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
