Wimal's wife sentenced to two years in prison
Shashi Weerawansa, the wife of MP Wimal Weerawansa, has been sentenced to two years in prison with hard labor for producing forged documents to obtain a diplomatic passport.
When the case was taken up today (May 27) the Colombo Magistrate's Court also imposed a fine of Rs. 100,000.
