Two youths traveling on a motorbike collided with a lorry and died in defiance of police orders

Two youths were killed when their motorcycle collided with a lorry at the Lunugamvehera Kitulkote junction on the Thanamalwila-Wellawaya main road.

Two policemen attached to the Lunugamvehera Police Traffic Unit had ordered drivers to stop at Ellagala Junction last night, but the motorcycle sped towards Thanamalwila despite police orders, police said.
