Trial Election in Amabalangoda today

The National Election Commission will conduct a trial election  today in line with the regulations set by the Health authorities.

The experimental election is being held at the Dhammayukthikarama temple in Vilegoda of Ambalangoda.

 

Commissioner General of elections, Saman Sri Ratnayaka said,  the Trial election will be held from 10 am to 12 pm today under the leadership of the Chairman of the National Elections Commission, Mahinda Deshapriya.

 

He added that the trial election will involve 200 voters and this program would test the new health regulations in order to identify its practicality and areas where improvements can be made.
