The government is considering banning the import of high-end goods.

According to reliable sources, the government has decided to substantially reduce the import of various luxury commodities as well as other non-essential goods.

Electronic items such as mobile phones, televisions, refrigerators, many electrical appliances, perfumes, and similar items are among the items that the government aims to stop importing, according to these sources.

The government is stated to be seriously considering boosting the country's falling foreign reserves as well as giving a chance for local businessmen in the domestic market through this approach. According to these sources, once the foreign reserves have stabilized, this precaution will be lifted.
