‘Supreme Lanka Coalition’ claims event organized in N’Eliya attacked

 

It is reported that a function of the Supreme Lanka Union (Northern Lanka Coalition) was organized to be held yesterday (Nov. 27) at the Hanguranketha Cultural Centre.

However, the organizers say that some people who came to the hall where the ceremony was being prepared in the early hours of yesterday (27) removed and destroyed the signs.

The organizers of the Supreme Ceylon Unity Festival had complained to the Hanguranketha Police Station in this regard by Jayalath Dissanayake, the organizer of the Sagani Jana Balawegaye (SJB), the brother of the Member of Parliament S.B. The police said that Dissanayake had done the assault and damaged the property.
