Sri Lanka re-mandates face masks

The Director General of Health Services announced today that the removal of the mandatory requirement to wear face masks outdoors has been temporarily suspended in view of the large number of public meetings currently taking place in the country.

Therefore, DGHS Dr. Asela Gunawardena stated that face masks should be worn outdoors as before.

He said in a press release that the order would come into effect from today (April 21).
