Secretarial staff member at Indian High Commission test positive for coronavirus

An official attached to the High Commission of India, Colombo has tested positive for COVID-19 on February 13.

 

The High Cmmission has confirmed that the staff member is currently placed at a designated Sri Lankan Government medical facility, in compliance with the COVID-19 guidelines set by Government of Sri Lanka.

 

Furthermore, the family members of the said official are also being governed strictly as per the set  guidelines.

 

The primary contacts of the official at the High Commission have been placed in isolation and the required precausionary  measures have been followed in accordance with the set health guidelines.
