SL to build South Asias first Disneyland in Bopita Leisure Park

South Asia’s first Disneyland will be created by Korea Cavitation Co. a company with Investments from Korea and Malaysia  in the proposed Bopitiya leisure Park in Sri Lanka.

 

As per the sources, negotiations in relation to the project are underway among the relevant parties and the Sri Lankan Government. 

 

The project will be established  similar to Genting Highlands in Malaysia, with a number of attractions, a  rail link, and a 300-room hotel.

 

Acordingly, it  will be the only Disneyland operating in the South Asian region.
